I have heard from Joe, our link teacher, at Edest in Jui, Sierra Leone.
He has been using resources provided in my 2019 visit to educate the children on plastic waste and to revisit awareness/concerns raised by our continued use of plastics.
They will be refurbishing their rubbish dump site to enable them to separate their waste.
At Edest and All Saints students will be keeping track of their waste for a week and then sharing their findings via WhatsApp. This activity is part of the World Wildlife Funding activity pack. We will then think about ways to reduce our plastic waste. Do have a look at
