Lynn is organising another of her popular wine-tasting evenings. Expert Ted Bacon, who must have one of the best jobs there is, will take us through the characteristics and delights of a range of reds and whites. He’ll be making a point of suggesting the kinds of wines that will go well with meals over Christmas. There’ll be a raffle, an auction of some choice bottles, a little competition to see who has been listening to Ted’s comments, and a cold buffet supper. It’s a very convivial evening!
